The Bus Turístic: see all of Barcelona for free! (or nearly)

Like in all other big cities, it’s always recommendable to take a tourist bus, so you can see all the important sites, monuments, etc. without getting tired. But, in Barcelona, we can almost say that it’s a must.

You can buy tickets for the Bus Turístic almost anywhere. You can choose one day or two consecutive days and it costs €20 and €24, respectively. With your ticket, you receive many discount vouchers for almost all the most important shows and monuments in the city (free entrance to the Barcelona Casino, discounts to all the Gaudí monuments, etc.) We saved €40 each, so in some way, they paid us to go on the Bus Turístic. To tell you the truth, they know how to do it, probably without the discounts we wouldn’t have visited some of the places, and they were worth it!

Paseo de Gracia, the centre of the city.

The Bus Turístic Routes

The Bus Turístic has three different routes, depending on what you want to see: the high part of Barcelona, the centre of the city and the Forum site. The first two routes last 2 hours and the third route, an hour and a half. You will spend one whole day on the bus, if you stop and get off, you’ll probably need a day and a half.

A must see are the Miramar gardens. They have been restored recently and it has one of the best viewpoints of Barcelona.

Moreover, the whole tour is commented in various languages (including English), so the routes are very entertaining.
