Getting to London if you are coming from Spain:
During the last years, travelling to London has become one of the cheapest options, due to the low prices that the famous low-cost companies offer. We can say, then, that you have a lot of options to get to London from Spain. The best thing, however, is to surf the net and find a good flight offer. You can find round trip flights from 50 euros per person on an average rate. Actually, if you search a little and have the possibility to adapt the dates of your trip, you'll be able to find cheapest flights.
Some years ago, when these low-cost companies didn't exist in Spain, travelling to London was very expensive. A charter flight could cost you 120 euros more or less. Nowadays, this scenario has changed a lot. We must make use of it!
Getting to London from other places:
The best option is still finding a good flight offer, as low-cost companies exist in almost every european country. Moreover, there are four airports in London, so the city has become one of the people's favourit destination.

Other options of getting to London:
Apart from the plane, you have several options of getting to London. We comment you a few of them:
By train
The train that crosses La Mancha Channel is called Eurosatar, which leaves from Paris or Brussels. There are a lot of trains leaving every day, 12 from Paris and 9 from Brussels.
It is a good option if London is a stop in your trip.
By car
Travelling to London by car is another good option. You have to reach Calais (in the north of France) and take the ferry that links Calais with Dover (in the south of Great Britain). When you are in Dover, getting to London will talke you an hour and a half more or less.
The only problem when travelling to London by car is, actually, the car itself! Since there is in London the "highway" to enter into the city, the traffic in the city has improved a lot. But if we are arriving by car, we'll have to pay for the parkings.
The most important advantage of travelling by car is that it gives you more freedom when planning a route trip in the south of the island. With the car you'll be able to plan routes and visit other towns.
By ship
Apart from the ferry that crosses La Mancha Channel departing from Calais, as we have previously mentioned, you can visit London by ship in one of the cruises that stop near from the city.
Departing from Spain, you can take a cruise from Bilbao or Santander, which will take to to the south of Great Britain, in Portsmouth and Plymouth respectively.
