" When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford " (Samuel Johnson, 1709-1785).

Are you planning on travelling to London?

London is an incredible city, amazing, funny and with a lot of possibilities when talking about doing tourism. It is, with any doubt, an excellent tourist destination, where you'll never get bored. You'll discover the Big Ben, the Notting Hill neighbourhood, the famous Hyde Park, the smart Golden Eye... Don't miss them all!

What is London exactly?

London is the capital of Great Britain and it is located on the south of the island and very closed to Thames river. Originally, London was a small city, known as City of London, but it is nowadays a city with an extension of 1579 square metres and with 33 different districts.

It is considered one of the most populated cities in the world, with more than 7 million inhabitants.

Which is the best season to visit London?

Maybe the best season to travel to London is during spring months, specially on May and June, although during July and August can also be a good option.

In general, as long as you can you must avoid travelling to London during winter time, as the weather is rather cold. Furthermore, from September until April it rains a lot in London, so it's better to avoid this period also.

How many days should I spend in London?

It depends on your plans. If you want to visit the city in depth, you'll need 5 days more or less, although if you have a whole week it will be better.

However, it has become fashion to escape to London for a few days, taking advantage of the low prices of the well-known low-cost companies. If you only have two or three days, plan your trip and visit only the most important things, as London is a very big city and the distances are enormous.

Despite that, if you spend one whole week in Londen you are going to have a great time in the city, because it's a city full of things to see and do. And you'll never get bored!

How much is it going to cost me?

London is, with any doubt, an expensive city in all senses. We strongly recommend you to have a planned budget before leaving your country, otherwise you will spend too much money. Hotels are, in general, quite expensive and the most expensive in London are the meals, although the great majority of the restaurants in London don't offer anything special. However, if you search a little you'll find cheap restaurants.
