Parks and gardens in London
Frequently, we associate London with the big gardens with its beautiful and neat grass, with its people lying on the grass and eating a sandwich. And in London there are a lot of parks and gardens, and become a funny way to enjoy the nature and to leave behind for some moments the frenetic rythm of the city.
As follows, we show you some of the most interesting gardens of the city, where you'll be able to eat, read or, simply, relax!
Kew Garden (or Royal Botanic Gardens)
Royal Botanic Gardens is an incredible preciousness. Located in Kew, a little far from the city centre but accessible by underground (Green Line), it's one of the most beautiful gardens of London. It is enormous, of about 300 acres.
Moreover, it offers a wide variety of trees and flowers. It is worth seeing because it is almost incredible that such a big park is located in London. Price: 18 euros!

Hyde Park
We can say for certain that Hyde Park is the biggest park in London, with over 358 acres of a beautiful grass. In this park, open to the public during all the day until the afternoon, it is common to see people lying on the grass or eating a sandwich.
Moreover, don't forget that it was in this park where the Speaker's Corner tradition began, in Marble Arch corner. At this corner began, in 1872, the tradition of giving speeches over a pedestal, which you'll be able to listen and enjoy.
Furthermore, it is a very crowded and lively park, because music concerts and shows are offered during all the year.
Regent's Park
Another park in London of also a great extension where you'll be able to enjoy the calm and rest. Regent's Park has got also a theatre, where during summer months theatre performances and shows are offered to the public.
Furthermore, there is also the Zoologic Park of the city and a lake with small boats to rent.

One park of London.
In general, all the parks and gardens of London are very neat. We suggest you that after spending two days in London visiting monuments and museums, take a free day to visit one of these parks mentioned above.
All of them are very well linked with the city centre, with nearby underground stops. Take a rest day, walk, read or rent a boat to "sail" a little. London can also be a quiet place!
